About the Project

Launched January 2026, THHI (The Housing and Hope Initiative) aims to provide homeowners in the urban slums of Delhi financial aid towards repairing and maintaining their homes. In order to help achieve this goal, an initial evaluation of the slum communities will be conducted using housing and utility surveys in order to identify what repairs are most needed by the community. 

The initiative will work with a registered NGO to facilitate refurbishment and repairs, provide pro-bono architects to assist with renovations for other non-profit organizations, publish guidelines on how to perform low cost, basic level home repairs safely and effectively, and provide children’s literature focused on how to properly weatherproof a home. 

Together, this project will provide each family with a safe and healthy place to live.
